Summary: You will work with the European Communications team and other relevant business stakeholders to deliver creative and strategically aligned PR campaigns with European reach. You will manage projects and events from creation and planning to execution. You will also support local country managers to deliver PR assets such as media enquiries, relevant spokespeople and comprehensive messaging on different topics. This is a great role for someone who is looking to expand their project management experience within a European remit.


This role has no direct reports and will report to the Head of Communications, Europe. 


What will you be doing: 

  • Act as B2C expert in the European team and liaise with Product PR and Marketing teams to provide support to the European country PR managers on all B2C related activities
  • Act as the point of contact for the Global Research and Analysis team and work with them to develop content and answer media enquiries about cyber-threat related topics
  • Effectively communicate highly-technical and often complex IT concepts and subjects to a mainstream consumer audience
  • Project manage press events and conferences – securing internal and external speakers, creating content, owning the budget, coordinating press attendance and overseeing the logistics manager
  • Coordination of press attendance at other local and global events throughout the year and hosting top tier media where required
  • Work with the communications team and PR agencies to develop and bring to implementation European wide creative PR campaigns
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with third parties relevant to on-going campaigns
  • Draft a variety of content from viewpoints to rapid responses within tight timeframes
  • Provide regular updates and reports about European activities


What are we looking for

  • 2-4 years’ experience of working in a communications role with an agency AND inhouse background or looking for your first inhouse role from agency side 
  • Excellent English skills, preferable another European language
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with proven experience in writing journalistic copy for editorial placement
  • Strong project management skills and demonstrable examples of managing budgets and agencies with a structured way of working
  • Self-motivated and confident working independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience of working with stakeholders across a business, including senior executives
  • Experience of working within a flat team structure – European experience a bonus
  • Degree preferably in Communications/PR/Journalism
