The Corporate Communications Manager, focusing on B2B, is responsible for managing media relations efforts and generating news coverage about Kaspersky Lab B2B products and services in all media outlets throughout Mexico and Latin America, including print, broadcast and online.

This position executes strategic plans supporting global corporate communications initiatives in alignment with department, stakeholder and organizational goals. Along with strong skills in media relations, this position will also be heavily focused on writing. Additionally, this role identifies proactive media opportunities for senior B2B executives and security researchers to help demonstrate Kaspersky Lab’s expertise.

The Corporate Communications Manager serves as the B2B product expert within the corporate communications team, and this role proactively works to devise launch and promotion strategies. This role will also be responsible for managing media relations efforts and generating news coverage for Kaspersky Lab’s channel business throughout Latin America.

The Corporate Communications Manager reports to the Head of Corporate Communications for Latin America.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Management of technology and product communications/announcements;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with media relevant to Kaspersky Lab, its products and technology;
  • Proactively implement campaigns to generate B2B product awareness, ensuring consistency in messaging by working closely with product and marketing teams;
  • Proactively pitch B2B announcements, new product developments, and expert sources to media;
  • Manage media inquiries relating to products, channel and threat;
  • Prepare spokespeople prior to interviews, and staff interviews;
  • Work with Head of Corporate Communications to manage product launches from strategy formulation to execution;
  • Manage customer and partner references, including development of case studies and other referenceable materials that demonstrate use of Kaspersky Lab products;
  • Manage awards program, submitting for relevant product and executive opportunities;
  • Helping to manage speaking program, including submitting for relevant opportunities;
  • Manage press tours and events around product launches, including on-site support at tradeshows;
  • Prepare press releases, media briefings, messaging documents, contributed articles, and other materials relating to B2B;
  • Develop deep understanding of the company’s business, competitive markets, services and technology/business trends that impact them;
  • Provide on-site support at tradeshows and company events, as needed.




  • Must be based in Mexico City, Mexico
  • Strong media relations skills with experience in pitching story ideas to relevant media contacts and success in attaining media coverage;
  • Established relationships with relevant press (B2B tech, security and channel contacts a plus);
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and quickly change gears in a dynamic, deadline-driven, high stakes environment;
  • Ability to work with senior management, as well as global counterparts;
  • Experience in developing PR plans and reports;
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker and problem-solver;
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communication, writing and/or relevant work experience at a PR agency or corporate setting;
  • 4-6 years of public relations experience;
  • Up to 10% travel required.
